I (Lucy) have never felt so emotionally impacted by my circumstances as I do right now. Since losing my brother, I have felt a depth and intensity of feeling that I have never felt before. At times I have struggled to cope with this new normal. 
 

Fortunately, I have been able to turn to loved ones who have helped to see me through. I have also turned to my art. Lots of sketching. Lots of improvising with Ben. I don't know what I would have done without these outlets.
 

I don't want to hide away from how I feel. I want to share my feelings with you all. It's not all ‘doom and gloom’ and I wish to express the full extent of my emotions (as ever) in all that I do - which includes live performance - and a fantastic opportunity his arisen to PURGE alongside a like minded soul and brilliant pianist Steve Tromans. Myself and Ben will be performing with Steve in BIRMINGHAM on FRIDAY 11th OCTOBER.
 

Steve is always pushing the limits of expectation through his music making and pours his heart and soul into his improvisations and creative output. I hope that this event will mark the beginning of a new and exciting creative journey.
