BEN THOMAS: I first played with Jim in 2001. I first met him in Cafe Jazz (Cardiff) on a Monday evening during a jam session. Amongst the usual chaos Jim's playing stood out - he was INTENSE! This guy is serious about what he does. He is a brilliant pianist. 

Over the years I have been fortunate enough to play with Jim a fair bit. It's always fun and creative and I'm looking forward to the next stage of our collaboration

Ben is an experimental musician with a quirky style. His trumpet-centric creations are incredibly visual and imaginative as found in his many recordings - as well as his extensive artistic outlets - as photographer, film-maker and performance artist.

Jim Barber is a brilliant pianist. He has performed extensively with a 'who's who' of the modern British jazz scene and his fiery yet sophisticated piano style is exciting to behold.
